Baseball

Logan started baseball on saturday.he had a ton of fun.he made a hit and ended up making it home and scoring. His team is called the hot rods. This pic is him up to bat.

Samuel David Powell

My friend came and took some pictures of Samuel when he was 3 days old. Here are a couple. He is a good baby and such a sweet boy. I think we are all finally adjusted to having Daddy home and a new baby. I'm still learning how to be more productive during the day and get the house clean again. Currently laundry is my worst enemy. It's amazing how much more there is now.

Logan is doing well in kindergarten and has started recognizing and spelling some sight words. Mary my little firecracker is soooo good at home with mom and baby Samuel. She is a super helper with her brother. I am so grateful for my family.

Flashback

For those of you who don't know a year ago on March 19 we "celebrated" our 5th wedding anniversary with Mary in the hospital. She had a rare serious allergic reaction to penecillin. They didn't know right away what she had or what type of reaction she'd had so it was pretty scary. Jordan had given her a blessing before we took her to the hospital which gave me comfort and while in the hospital with her I think I was also too busy trying to help her that I didn't have time to realize but I'm pretty sure we got a few be prepared for the worse type talks from the doctors. Thankfully she recovered fairly quickly and is now happy and healthy and will never have penecillin again.

This year Chad is away for work for our anniversary. It stinks in general that he is gone but compared to last year I'd say we're improving. I am just thankful everyone is safe and healthy.

i'm thinking that i need to update two items with paint jobs. I am leaning toward a mustardy yellow or a brightish green...what do you think? definitely not the same for both...i thought maybe for the...lets call it a former spice rack turned potential sewing center...just a white but with yellow drawers...and awesome knobs. anyhow someone give me input. oh and we got some fish tonite and i need to take some photos b/c what a story i have to tell about them already. crazy fish

copycat

mary likes to copy people. this is a little scary b/c she is surrounded by 3-7 other naughty toddlers all day m-f at work. so not only does she have her own naughty ideas but 7 other kids as well. but mostly it is cute when she copies. from ma she now likes to have a napkin at mealtime to wipe her mouth. and you can see from the pics how she likes to imitate daddy as well.
